It's pretty obvious isn't it? It's just a simple stereo system in an automobile, you say. Although a few people like to install home stereo systems in their automobiles, sometimes it just doesn't work. Maybe prior to today's high powered systems it could've worked just fine. All you required was a radio and a cassette player (or 8 track, for those other dinosaurs out there) lug those big box speakers into the backseat and you would be rocking down the highway. But today there are things like compact disc players and mp3 players and your popup liquid crystal display panels and all that other high tech gadgetry you would believe they would like to establish a home theater system right on the console of their van. If you don't know anything about stereo systems but want to have some good sounds in your vehicle anyway, here are a few things to know about a car stereo.
As I mentioned above, back in the day head units and speakers from home audio systems and professional markets were just merely installed into vehicles. Nonetheless, they weren't well appropriate for the extremes of temperature and vibration which are a natural component of the surroundings of an automobile. Around my area there are a lot of clubs for tuners. The drivers that are in these clubs usually know everything you need to know about cars anything so if you need help and drive a car they drive you can most likely find some help.
If you are more of a non social person and like doing it yourself than you can most likely find what you are looking for on the internet, the internet has more than many websites that can help you in any conundrum you may have. You can more than likely find an online chat room or forum board to receive messages fast and easy.
There is really not a need to feel upset or mad about a car problem, it's a car it's what a car does best. There are a number of people who will not enjoy anything more than helping you out with your car issue.

That is the beauty of imports, over exotics. If you don't have the money for a 300k factory vehicle you can always spend a tenth of that and have one probably just as fast with the right mechanic.
So you want a new car stereo system, do you? Maybe the thing that has been holding you back is the expense of having it installed. Well, you know you don't have to be a teenager to be able to install it yourself! It really isn't all that difficult if you have the right parts and instruction. In addition to saving money you get the satisfaction that you did it yourself and it is a great learning experience.
The first caveat I must give you is to slow down. Do not get in a hurry and try to shove something in where it doesn't go. The majority of car stereo systems are simple to install and usually have matching male-female connectors that only work one way to make it easy. First off before you decide whether or not to install it yourself you need to consider what kind of system you are going to install in your car. You will recognize that in many cases that after you have removed the factory installed radio an aftermarket system will easily go in the same place with little or no adjustment.
If you have an import vehicle from Japan you will likely be using ISO mounting during the install process which is when the radio is screwed to the already existing factory radio brackets. Another way of mounting is called ring mounting which is the mounting kit that comes with an aftermarket radio to mount into the hole left by the factory radio. Sometimes trim and dash rings have to be filled in around the radio or they made need to be trimmed to make the stereo fit properly. Most places have kits that make this simple and you should go ahead and get a head removal tool as well to make that process painless.
The speakers are usually very simple to install. In most cases you will just use a set of speakers that fit into the same place as did the factory speakers just be sure that there are no unsightly holes or gaps afterwards. In many cases the simple act of building a fiberglass or wood baffle can eliminate this problem and give you a much better sound.
One of the most important things that you should remember is that not everyone that tries out for their license will get it. Drifting is just as hard as any other professional sport it takes hard work and talent. If you want to become a drifter then you need to get the right car for it and better get started. If you first fail at getting your license there will be another opportunity to come around.
An amateur is a racer that races but doesn't receive money for his accomplishments. This basically means you are not pro yet but still drift and may be on the way to becoming one. There are many tracks around the United States that host live drifting events. Even though you may not be pro you can still go out on the track and put on a show and may qualify to get your license. The one problem about this is that there are only a few places around in the U.S. that host these events.
As stated above you can start drifting whenever you want and still be with it. Many people like to think of it as street racing but you are not street racing unless you are racing on the street although it is illegal to race on the street. If you haven't been exposed to drifting before and you just starting then you need to take it slow in order for you to go fast you have to start out slow. You can take intro to drifting at many places.
Drift lessons are offered all around the United States all you have to do is look. Even though it isn't where drifting came from you can find many places in California that will teach intro to drifting. The lessons can be taught to either men or women. All you need to do to find a lesson is look online and you should find something. If they are doing it in your area and you love to drift go for it.
You can most likely get involved with a drifting lesson and then start learning towards getting your license in no time at all. If they don't exist in your area then you might have to just teach yourself if you have a good car to use such as a 240sx with a sr20det the sr20det was built by Nissan for drifting basically all you really need to do is add some sway bars, an LSD and some good tires and your good to go. Maybe a little tuning but all in all you will be doing good with a 240sx anytime.
